Meet the

pando Team.

We're on a mission to improve career outcomes for everyone.
/pandō/ noun: a grove of aspen trees with a shared underground root system. An individual aspen tree is vulnerable. It sways in the wind and draws water only from its own roots. When aspens grow together, however, their roots fuse into one shared system – distributing vital nutrients to the trees that need them most and forming the single largest living organism in the known world.

pando was founded at stanford graduate school of business

Co-Founders Charlie Olson and Eric Lax met at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where Eric's research on income volatility led them to get curious about a product that would support people in high-volatility careers.

In the fall of 2017, Pando officially launched and raised a Seed round. 🌳

2020

we launched in entrepreneurship & raised a series a

In January of 2020, we extended our product to entrepreneurs. Since then, we've built pools of ambitious founders, industry leaders, and MBAs.

In June of 2020, we announced our Series A, led by Core VC.

2020 was a difficult year for everyone. We are fortunate that we were able to play a small role in easing the financial impact of COVID-19 for our clients, by committing $25,000 to support players who were impacted by the delayed baseball season.
2021

NOW WE'RE leveling up

We made it through 2020, and in June of 2021, we pooled our 100th entrepreneur!

August of 2021 we put our heads together to release an evolution of our pooling product... stay tuned for what we're launching next!
