How do you establish a meeting cadence?

A great question to ask your founding members is how frequently your pool wants to meet.

The beginning stages of every pool feel like a lot of planning, but we promise it’ll be worth it.

A great question to ask your founding members is how frequently your pool wants to meet.

We suggest monthly meetings. In our experience, they seem to hit that sweet spot of engagement, while not taking over your schedule.

Monthly meetings give poolers the chance to do regular check-ins, see who needs help, time for candidate reviews, and space for pool opportunities or changes that might come up in the process. And of course, there is always the option for poolers to set up meetings individually with people in Pando, within their own pool, or with members of other pools in the Pando greater community.

If some of the founding members or new poolers want more frequent meetings you can try an optional bi-weekly meeting schedule or set up a pool 1:1 schedule every month to add on extra time together as a pool.

We recommend polling people’s weekly/monthly availability through Doodle or When2Meet. This way you can find the best time while also being aware of how busy your pool members are.

Key Takeaways:

  • Find out how frequently your pool wants to meet.
  • If you want to become more involved in Pando, reach out to schedule 1:1 time.
  • Use doodle or When2Meet to find out when you should schedule your meetings.
