How do you use Treehouse, Pando's invite-only Slack community?

The most important part of utilizing Treehouse is by making sure you are on your pool’s private channel.
Pando Team

The most important part of utilizing Treehouse, our Pando-sponsored communication channel on Slack, is by making sure you are on your pool’s private channel.

If you aren’t sure if you have been added yet, reach out to us at pool_admin@pandopooling.com and we can ask a founding member to add you.

Your pool might not use Treehouse for 100% of their pool communication, but Pando uses it to communicate successes (#Celebration-Station), any events we may be hosting, and it is an easy way to connect with others poolers.

It might be overwhelming when you first join, but try taking a self-guided tour first and reach out to pool_admin@pandopooling.com with questions or for a personalized walk-through.

If you have ideas for events or want to be involved in a panel or event down the road -- email us at cj@pandopooling.com or pool_admin@pandopooling.com. We want our poolers to be involved with, and even lead, our events so please be vocal about what you’re looking for. We always love an excuse to share your skills with our social networks and broader communities.

Another way to make sure you are getting the most out of our resources with Treehouse is to RSVP to events or respond via Slack about your attendance.

Some ways to participate in Treehouse:

  • Like, respond, or acknowledge messages in your private pool and in our Treehouse wide messages
  • Intro yourself at the beginning of your pooling experience and encourage others too as well
  • Use our broader channel for advice, “asks”, or to celebrate your fellow poolers

We made Treehouse for our pooler’s benefit and we genuinely believe that you can gain a great community from being a part of the conversations we host in and out of Treehouse.

Key Takeaways:

  • Make sure you have been added to your pool's channel on Treehouse.
  • RSVP to events and other Pando community events.
  • Intro yourself at the beginning of your pooling experience and encourage others too as well
