Job Overview:

 

We are seeking to hire a Baseball Account Executive to join our growing baseball sales team. This individual will be responsible for scheduling meetings with, and selling to, both major and minor league professional baseball players. As we are growing quickly, the role has significant opportunity for growth beyond sales.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Sales:

  • Present, promote and sell the Pando pooling model to professional baseball players

  • Create and execute both cold and warm outreach strategies

  • Educate players, agents, and financial advisors to the benefits

  • Study customer needs to tailor pitch and pool composition

  • Reach sales quotas on schedule

  • “Go the extra mile”

 

Lead generation: 

  • Build and maintain a healthy player pipeline

  • Establish, develop, and cultivate a deep network within baseball

  • Help with marketing to attract channel partners

  • Qualify inbound leads and identify prospects

  • Engaged with major social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

 

Team player: 

  • Coordinate sales efforts across departments and cooperate with other sales associates

  • Wear many hats, with lots of room for growth and ways to add value

 

Experience / Skills:

 

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a quota carrying sales role with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding quota

  • Sports fans & those with baseball networks are a plus

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent 

  • Superior communication and negotiation skills

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations

  • Persistent, positive, and curious

  • Energetic personality with customer service focus
